DESCRIPTION/EVALUATION:
This book offers a series of vignettes on the application of specific
Total Quality techniques to specific academic situations. It is a
collection of what librarians call "how I done good" literature. The
introduction is really a sales pitch for the TQM method and does little
provide a framework for the papers which follow, indeed, most of the
papers assume a familiarity with TQM and its techniques. The book
would be useful for faculty and staff seeking "brainstorming" ideas
for TQM implementation.
