Grace York, head of University of Michigan Documents Center, is mentioned in a New York Times article (9/2/99; pG10) (Democracy Finds Fertile Ground on Line) for maintaining a "list of free and universally available sites [that] is among the most comprehensive, and comprehensible, anywhere." Congratulations, Grace! The article goes on to emphasize the fact that "the best sources to begin with are often universities, which have access not just to libraries but to good reference librarians."
