Caregivers, seniors, and professionals in the aging network have a new stop on the information superhighway -, sponsored by the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging.

In just a few simple steps from the home page, you can type in your city or zip code or county and get a list of nursing homes, senior centers, home health care agencies, dial-a-ride providers, meals on wheels programs or a host of other resources for successful aging.

Are you 55 or older and looking for work experience and on the job training? The web page provides a web link to a prescreen that will help you find out if you might be eligible for the Senior Community Service Employment Program.

Are you interested in improving your nutrition. has an online brochure with tips on healthy eating.

Do you want to make your home safer? Are you looking for residential alternatives like assisted living? has a series of informative online checklists that might help.

Future plans for include a screen for caregivers to help identify services they might need and find providers in their community.

The Library of Michigan has made PDF versions of the nine available Census 2000 Michigan reports available on its website for libraries and individuals having problems with the Crystal Reports format on the Michigan Information Center website.
